Company celebrates Gold Medal Award wins by giving away pure gold medallions
Great Western Brewing Company is celebrating the three Gold Medals it won at the most recent Monde Selection Ceremony by giving away 24 solid gold medallions. The medallions will be awarded to 24 customers who find a specially marked can in a 24-can pack of Great Western Brewing’s premium beers: Light, Pilsner and Premium. The medallions weigh one ounce troy, which at yesterday's market closing was valued at $922 CAD.

Saskatoon, SK – Overwhelmed by the immense interest in the “Beer Chill Factor” program, Great Western Brewing has set a research proposal deadline of 5:00 pm CST (6:00 EST) on Friday Feb 29th, 2008.
In the very short time since Great Western Brewing’s request for research proposals made international headlines, the internationally award-winning brewer has been overwhelmed by hundreds of great responses. Some very technical. Some very research based. Some very McGyverish. And of course, some that were very, very odd.

Saskatoon, Sk – Great Western Brewing has announced the winners from hundreds of responses sent in for the Great Western Beer Chill Factor program. The winning entry came from Greg Longman of Regina whose study was assisted by aspiring co-scientists Kevin “GB” Gregorie, Gerald “the pirate” Toth, and Bill Mackay.
